Please review all guidelines before proceeding with submission.
- All senior quotes are limited to a MAXIMUM of 150 characters. Any submission in excess of the 150 character limit may result in rejection. *Attribution included in character limit total.
- Please type your quote exactly as you want it to be printed. If there are grammar or spelling errors, your quote will not be added to the yearbook.
- Please DO NOT add or quotation marks in your quote submission.
- You must submit an attribution along with your quote; name of the person from whom the quote originates.
- No profanities, slang, vulgarity, obscenity
- No abbreviations, acronyms, creative spelling
- Nothing that could be considered offensive, questionable, or inappropriate for a school setting
- No references to cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, sex, gangs, etc.
- No language that denigrates another person’s character, ethnicity, religious/political beliefs, sexuality, gender, physical or mental ability, etc.
- No derogatory comments about the school, current or former students, faculty, staff members or employee of Mill Spring Academy.
- No special characters/emojis
- No hashtags or references to hashtags.
- No timestamps references to episodic media/videos.
- No longitude/latitude coordinates.
- Quoting current or former Mill Spring Academy administrators, teachers, staff members or employees of Mill Springs Academy will be reviewed and approved on case by case basis.
- Any quote requiring research by yearbook staff, adviser or school administration to confirm appropriate context and/or meaning may be rejected without notice.
- The yearbook staff, adviser, and administration reserve the right to refuse a quote for any reason without notice.
- Once a quote is rejected, the opportunity to replace or modify the quote may not be offered.
- Submission and/or disclosure or admission of dishonorable academic behavior may result in disciplinary action by school administration.
- Senior quotes are a privilege, not a right.
